Crownstone Labs makes non-connected devices part of the Internet-of-Things (IoT) world by making them connected. We make your new product part of a vast ecosystem where it can seamlessly communicate with other products, to the internet, or the cloud.
At Crownstone Labs we have ample experience with wireless and wired technologies. We do have experts on Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth Mesh, Matter, Thread, Zigbee, and many other protocols.
Our team can make sure your new device is connected over its entire lifetime. We do this with services such as firmware updates, cloud support, deployment apps, etc.

We preferably use the nRF52 series for a rapid ready-for-manufacturing (RFM) process. The nRF53 series supports Bluetooth 5.1 Direction Finding, Bluetooth 5 Long Range, NFC, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Zigbee, and the nRF9160 supports NB-IoT/LTE-M (using an eSIM). Although we’ve experienced excellent support from Nordic engineers, we’re not limited to their chipsets.
A wired or wireless IoT device can - thanks to its connection - be remotely and continuously monitored, configured, controlled, and updated. Additionally, wireless devices have the following benefits over their wired counterparts…
Device mobility
Devices can be relocated while still remaining connected
Lower setup and installation costs
Wireless communication infrastructure is easier, cheaper, and faster to install
Lower risks of malfunctioning
The absence of cables eliminates the risk of malfunction due to cable damage
